Standing Bow Pose
Dandayamana - Dhanurasana


My favorite health benefits of this posture:
- Stimulates blood circulation
- Eases back pain
- Helps alleviate arthritis
- Flush kidneys, bladder, and urinary system
- Alleviates gas, clears digestion

 

So I still have quite a ways to go with this posture but it's a slow journey not a race! Until my leg is straight behind my head I will continue to envision myself breaking through every wall as I balance during this posture. It is a posture of extreme determination which represents everything about my life right now. ‪#‎yogi‬ ‪#‎Bikram‬ ‪#‎hotyoga‬
